ALL ABOARD. . . for group tours!!

The historic Texas and Pacific Depot is a favorite destination for railfans of all ages. Many schools, organizations, and church groups participate in our interpretive tours. A museum representative greets your group upon your arrival, and friendly, knowledgeable guides explain artifacts and weave interesting anecdotes into the story of Marshall and the Texas and Pacific Railway.

Guided tours typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cost is $2 for adults and $1 for children. Advance group reservations are required. The months of November, December, and May are very busy, so please schedule well in advance. To arrange a group tour, please call the museum gift shop at 903-938-9495.

SCHOOL TOURS

School tours of the museum, model railroad, and caboose are enjoyable and educational outings. Age-appropriate teaching materials that prepare students for their museum visits are available to all schools. Teachers and adults accompanying school tours are admitted free of charge.
